Two new poetry nights launched in two weeks and it feels so good to know there is emerging talent in my home town and my home city.

I can't lie, it was a nervous couple of nights because you don't know who or how many people are going to turn up, but to see people come and support something new was heart-warming.

So on to this weekend and the Rhubarb Festival in Wakefield. Truth Be Told have been extremely fortunate in been able to bring the public three events over the weekend (details over on the Upcoming page) and I'm excited to showcase the New Voices section on Friday.

If you're around the festival this weekend, I might see you around!
